Drumline wins first at HEB contest

On Saturday, drumline participated in the HEB Drumline Contest at Pennington Field in Bedford. At the contest, the drumline presented their 2016 show, Orion, for the first time this season.

The drumline placed first out of the seven schools in their division with an overall score of 189 out of 200. The drumline also won two out of four awards for the best front ensemble and snare line.

The drumline will perform their show again on Saturday for the Plano Drumline Competition at Clark Stadium in Plano.
