Football players run out of the Super H as the game begins.

The fifth annual spring game and family festival will be held May 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Hawk Stadium. Admission is free to the community.

“It’s a time for us to show everyone what we’ve been working on and how hard we have been working,” junior wide receiver Jaren Mitchell said. “The teams are mixed up so we get hyped and excited about that and trash talk so it makes it a lot fun. It’s just a time where we can all enjoy ourselves and still compete at the same time.”

Besides the scrimmage, other organizations like Silver Wings and cheer will perform. Spirit wear, food vendors and other activities will be available for the community.

“[I am looking forward to] just going out, having fun and competing with my teammates,” Mitchell said. It’s my last high school spring game, so I definitely want to make it the best one [by trying to] stay healthy and not get hurt at the same time.”
