Junior Jaren Mitchell evades a Marcus player
On Friday, Oct. 7, the Hawks faced off against rival football team, the Marcus Marauders. The Marauders held the lead for most of the game, before falling behind briefly at the end of the third quarter. The Hawks were able to hold their short lead until the final 40 seconds of the game, before the Marauders landed a final touchdown. The final score was 37-33.
