Candy lies on the streets surrounding Hebron as the parade concludes. Following this event, a community pep rally was held in the Hawk Stadium for community members to see what the student pep rallies are like.
Following the cancelation of last year’s events, the annual homecoming parade and community pep rally resumed this year on the streets surrounding the school the evening of Oct. 20.
The parade is one of many homecoming traditions that was canceled last year due to COVID-19. Students, parents and community members attended the event and watched performances from school organizations, as well as floats decorated by clubs.
The theme for this year’s homecoming was “Now Streaming: Season 20 Episode 21.” The homecoming dance will be held Oct. 23 from 7 – 10 p.m. to conclude the week of celebrations. Other homecoming traditions include hallway decorations and themed dress-up days throughout the week.
