[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Amid the onset of new artists emerging in 2015, it’s quite the task to find any one group that can stand out from the bunch. Enter MisterWives, the indie pop quintet responsible for hits such as “Vagabond,” featured as theme song for MTV’s “Finding Carter,” and “Reflections,” a heartbreak ballad in neon stained glass colors.

MisterWives has managed to produce a full-length album as electrifying and buoyant as their EP “Reflections” in 2014. The album is like a jolt of lightning, celebratory and loud in form. Already known for their alternative dance sound, “Our Own House” does anything but dimmish it’s preestablished voice. It features a multi- toned array of songs, each a distinctive composition of brass blares, keyboard, percussion and the incommensurable voice of lead singer Mandy Lee.

The lyrics are glass-like in their delicacy and profoundness, and set against the pulse and vocal delivery, that glass shatters. With slower songs like “Coffins” and “Queens” and thrash anthems like “Not Your Way” and “Reflections,” the album as a whole is a diverse and sparkling explosion of confetti that will decorate or lighten any moment.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][image_with_animation image_url=”2281″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][tabbed_section el_class=”Good”][tab title=”Good”][vc_column_text]

  • Consistently polished
  • Exciting

  • A few of the songs get lost on the album, overshadowed by it’s bigger hits
