Behind the scenes: Footloose
The production of the all-school musical “Footloose” was held on Jan. 21-23 in the auditorium. The first complete run-through dress rehearsal of the show was held on Jan. 20. The beginning of the complete run-through started at 7:15 p.m. This production was directed by three directors new to Hebron this year: Ryan Heitzmen, Cory Broom, and Liz Shurr. Theater faced some challenges with a new team but was able to pull through with a show that attracted many.
“There have been a lot of things thrown at us with the new director team,” lead actor AJ Abdullah said. “With new styles, and a whole new class, it’s just learning to adapt. I think the show has taught us all to work together under very strenuous situations, and by overcoming them – we can have a great show.”
