Going Green: Band sponsors recycling drive to fundraise

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]The band is hosting its first Recycle Day Fundraiser  on Jan. 25, from 9 a.m-1 p.m. Anyone can drop off recycled items in any condition, such as electronic devices, cell phones, sporting goods and computers at the band circle in front of the freshman center. The event will benefit the school band by providing money to offset traveling costs.

“This is the first year we’re doing it at Hebron,” band parent Jennifer Saenz said. “Arbor Creek has been doing it for a while, and we thought it was a good idea as well. I think it’s a great way for the school to make money and support Hebron band, because it soon becomes expensive to transport students to certain events and football games.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
