Hawk Theatre Company will perform The Fate of Injustice, a double feature show, featuring The Drowning Girls, by Beth Graham, Daniela Vlaskalic and Charlie Tomlinson, and Medea, by Euripides. The shows will be performed on Sept. 28, 29 and 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the auditorium and online for $10.

“The two shows we are putting on are a mix of revenge and vengeance towards the wrongdoings of the women’s husbands,” said senior Rayan Moosa, who plays King Aegeus in Medea. “It takes you through the journey of Medea’s revenge and The Drowning Girls’ fear towards their spouses.”

The company has been working on the show for four weeks, having rehearsals run for over five hours depending on the day. A preview video was produced to promote both shows. Although the characters are new and different for the department, Moosa believes the plays will be successful because of the amount of dedication students put into the productions.

“I’m excited to experience a character with high royalty,” Moosa said. “I play a noble character with a lot of power, so that should be fun. I think the plays will be amazing. We have worked so hard on them, and we have put in an endless amount of hours.”
