On Friday, August 26, the varsity football team played against the Plano Wildcats at home.
In the second quarter, senior Jalen Slater scored a touchdown for the Hawks on his 100-yard kickoff return making the score 14-7 with the Wildcats still in the lead. However, the Wildcats managed to score another 17 points before the end of the half and added another touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Hawks lost 38-7. The Hawks will travel to Wylie on Friday to take on the Pirates at 7:30 p.m.
