Swim to compete against Klein Friday

The swim team practices before their meet on Friday against Klein High School. This is the team’s first meet this school year.
The swim team will participate in its first dual meet on Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. at the East Side Aquatic Center in The Colony. The meet is hosted by Hebron against Klein High School in Houston.
So far this year, the team has participated in the 10th annual Grapevine-Colleyville ISD (GCISD) pentathlon. Senior Mackenzie Garcia received her Pentathlon fourth four-peat champion award in her high school career.
“[The dual meet] is going to be a little bit tough,” junior Zachary Batterson said. “We’re going to have to put in a lot of hard work today and tomorrow [during practice] just to make sure we’re ready. But I think we’re ready, and I’m hoping that we will do really good.”
