Lady Hawks cruise past Byron Nelson in first round
On Tuesday, November 3rd, the district champion Lady Hawks volleyball team traveled to Lake Dallas High School for a first round match-up against the Byron Nelson Bobcats. In the first set, Hebron showed exactly why they were district champions, overwhelming the Bobcats by a final score of 25-12. Byron Nelson made a late surge in the second set, but the Lady Hawks took a 2-0 advantage, winning by a score of 25-18. In the third set, Hebron won 25-17 to sweep Byron Nelson and advance to the second round of the playoffs. The Lady Hawks will travel to the Colony High School, this Friday, November 6th, for a second round meeting with the Coppell Cowboys.
