Volleyball to play at Flower Mound tonight

Volleyball will play against Flower Mound at 6:30 p.m on Oct. 19 after winning against Lewisville on Oct. 16, 3-0.
“I’m excited,” head coach Karin Keeney said. “My kids have been playing better ball in the second half of district and we’ve made some changes in the line up, so I’m anxious to see how that’s going to look against Flower Mound. Flower Mound is a really good team and they are currently sitting in first place, so I’m hoping my kids will take on the mindset that we have nothing to lose and just go play them hard. We are definitely a better team now than we were even four weeks ago, but we still have room for improvement because we are sitting third in our district.”
The team will wrap up regular season play next week when it plays Irving Nimitz on Tuesday at home.
