The football team won its game against Irving Nimitz 40-21 on Sept. 28. Both Hebron and Nimitz started out the first quarter quickly scoring two touchdowns a piece, tying the score with 14-14. Before the first quarter ended, Hebron added two touchdown passes and one field goal, making the score 31-14. Neither team earned any more points before halftime. In the third quarter, Nimitz completed a rushing touchdown, making the score 31-21. In the fourth quarter Hebron scored a rushing touchdown and a safety, making the final score 40-21. With this win, Hebron moves its record to 3-1 on the season. Hebron will play a home game against Coppell on Friday, October 5.
