Football lost its home game against the Coppell Cowboys on Oct. 5. In the first quarter, junior quarterback Carson Harris scored a rushing touchdown and brought the score to 6-0. The PAT by senior Grant Paulette was successful, making the score 7-0. The Cowboys scored a touchdown in the second quarter, tying the score at 7-7. The Cowboys also scored a second touchdown before halftime, but missed the PAT, making the score 7-13. In the third quarter, the Cowboys kicked a field goal, bringing the score to 7-16. Before the end of the third quarter, the Hebron defense forced a safety, making the score 9-16. In the fourth quarter, Harris rushed for another touchdown, making the score 15-16. The PAT was blocked, essentially ending the game. Hebron will play a home game against Marcus on Oct. 12.
