April 3 was National Chocolate Mousse Day. Chocolate mousse is a French dessert known for its light and airy appearance along with its rich chocolate flavor. 

Some believe chocolate mousse is a staple among chocolate desserts, which is exactly why I wanted to try it. I’ve always wondered what the texture would be like or if I’d even like it since I’m not a huge fan of chocolate. Nevertheless, when I found out there was a National Chocolate Mousse Day, I knew this was my chance to finally try the classic dish. I’m glad I did because this desert has quickly climbed its way into one of my favorites.
