More than 80 students attended the first meeting of the Gay-Straight Alliance on Dec. 1, and the founders hope to maintain high attendance at the clubs next meeting this afternoon. Students stepping up and being activists will carry over into the rest of their lives, senior and co-founder Adam Buttyan said. It really is American to say, these are my ethics, and this is my right, and Im gonna go for it.
