Wasabi ‘n Wok, the latest addition to the Lewisville shopping center, located on Josey Road and Highway 121, may become a place to consider for your next Asian food endeavor.

In the midst of a variety of dining choices, the mixed Japanese and Chinese restaurant offers a traditional menu of favorites, such as fried rice and chow mein, but also has an impressive variety of sushi rolls.

The staff was warm and friendly, consistently coming by our table, refilling water and taking our orders. The setting had a modern yet traditional feel, with dimmed lights and colorful pillars. A sushi bar lines the furthermost wall, with two sous chefs preparing food behind the counter.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]For a Thursday night, the restaurant was relatively quiet; we ordered two orders of sushi, spicy tuna and their “monster” roll, and an order of chicken fried rice. We barely had to wait ten minutes before the plates, fresh off the stove, were brought before us. The presentation of the sushi was beautiful; professional and visually appealing.

The prices vary depending on the dish but are mostly affordable. The sushi ranges from $6 to $8 with the chef’s specials at $11 to $14. However, the portions were rather small, and if I were to have ordered an extra roll, the total would have been around $13. For dinner, it is reasonable and the quality of the food was fresh and delicious.

Overpriced sushi houses will now be reserved for special occasions, but for a nice weekend family meal, Wasabi ‘n Wok is a go-to place for Chinese/Japanese cravings.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][nectar_slider location=”wasabi” flexible_slider_height=”true” arrow_navigation=”true” desktop_swipe=”true” loop=”true” min_slider_height=”250″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][divider line_type=”Small Line”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][image_with_animation image_url=”3521″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][tabbed_section][tab title=”Good” id=”1416205238768-5″][vc_column_text]Reasonable prices
