[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Thanks to a fun new website, there is no need to daydream your way into classic stories anymore. Books By You allows you to personalize the character’s names and appearances in their offered books.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]They offer a wide variety of books such as Pride and Prejudice and The Wizard of Oz. This isn’t only for fans of classic books; they also have sections for children, young adults, romance and mystery books.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]My friend had a birthday coming up so I ordered and personalized a young adult novel for her. When customizing the book, not only can you personalize the main character, but also their love interest or counterpart. For my friend I graciously made her love interest her celebrity crush.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]When ordering the book you get options to make it hardback, paperback or an eBook. I bought my friend an eBook and she absolutely loved it. I also read the book, as I was curious to see how it turned out. Overall, it had an enjoyable plot and storyline. Unfortunately, the book was short, under 200 pages. The characters lacked depth due to their need to appeal to the reader. The story was unique and mysterious, but it was also very cheesy at times.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]However, it is an absolutely fantastic gift idea and I plan to personalize some children’s books for my young cousins to give to them during Christmas. It makes the gift receiver feel a lot more loved and treasured than a gift card would. Sadly, it isn’t cheap to buy these books; some hardbacks cost up to $60. I’m not one to spend that much on a book, no matter how much I love the person. I prefer to go the ebook or paperback route. It wasn’t the best book I have ever read, but it was fun to read and I enjoyed personalizing it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][image_with_animation image_url=”3521″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][tabbed_section][tab title=”Pros” id=”1433355317238-8″][vc_column_text]The personalization aspect is fun, storyline is light-hearted and it’s a unique gift.[/vc_column_text][/tab][tab title=”Cons” id=”1433355317318-2″][vc_column_text]It’s expensive, bland characters and it’s extremely short.[/vc_column_text][/tab][/tabbed_section][/vc_column][/vc_row]
