This competition is the first time the team competed in the saber division. In addition, JROTC earned third place in the male color guard division and at least the fifth seat in all other divisions.

“In an effort to connect to the school more this year, our competition training was put on the back burner,” sophomore Mathew Cha said. “This competition encouraged us to try even harder and not give up as the season peaks.”

Cha, the operations officer for his unit, said that in this particular competition, they decided to have the JV color guard compete to prepare them for next year when they become seniors.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
