The tennis team continued its season with its seventh invitational tournament against Coppell on Oct. 2. The team lost overall, winning four matches and losing 15, bringing its season record to five wins and two losses.
“Coppell is one of the best teams in the state,” tennis coach CJ Cowgill said. “We lost 5-14, but had nine matches where we won a set. It was a really close match. We are down several varsity players, so we are very proud of how our team is competing.”
