The Hawks take home their first win
On Friday, Sept. 2, the Hawks traveled to Wylie to face off against the Pirates. The Hawks started out hot, scoring the first touchdown of the game in the first quarter. The Hawks built a 24-21 lead heading into the fourth quarter before the Pirates staged a brief comeback. Wylie got within four points in last five minutes of the game, before the Hawks scored the final touchdown and field goal, bringing the final score to 34-28.
