Daily List: 9 things every girl with thick hair goes through

Just about every girl with thick hair eventually stops caring about the way her hair looks. If you’re one of the victims, you know what I’m talking about…

1. Shedding. The annoying strands of hair that just fall onto your shirt or get stuck onto your jeans. Practically everywhere you go, your loose hair is already there.

2. Being unable to run your hands through your hair smoothly. There’s always a problem, whether there are knots or tangles- there just isn’t a way to do this kind of thing when you have thick hair.

3. Stretching out every hair tie. The threading begins to tear and the elastic begins to show and you know it’s the end. You break a hair tie, then another, and another, and the next thing you know you’re at the store restocking on hair ties to repeat the whole cycle.

4. When you’re in the shower constantly pumping way too much shampoo and conditioner to cover every inch of your hair. Then the next time you go into the shower you find that there isn’t any shampoo or conditioner left to use for your hair.

5. Watching some video tutorials on what to do with your hair, mimicking every step, and when you finally reach the end of the tutorial your hair is not at all how it was meant to be.

6. Another shower dilemma, hair clumps. When washing your hair, it again falls out and gathers on the floor of the shower in gross wads.

7. Being unable to brush your hair when it’s dry.Firstly because of all the knots, a pain and struggle to get through all of them. And when the brushing is done, you’re left with this big poofy mess of hair that is not only ugly, but not able to tame.

8. You also have trouble keeping your hair in a high ponytail. Because your hair is so thick and you have all these useless weak hair ties, your ponytail won’t last. By the end of the day, it’ll just fall low.

9. Not knowing how to tackle straightening your hair. After hours of straightening your hair, you see that you aren’t even close to done and your hair isn’t even that straight. You will never be able to straighten your hair to your satisfaction.
