Choir holding cluster concert
Choir will hold its annual cluster concert in the auditorium on Jan. 9, 10 and 11 at 7 p.m.
“The middle school choirs and a couple of the elementary school choirs come and [we] do some songs,” sophomore Ben Bodnar said. “Then we [sing] a song with everybody, and it’s called ‘Dona Nobis Pacem.’ It’s a really cool experience.”
The cluster concert combines the high school choir with different middle and elementary school choirs in the feeder pattern each day.
“So everybody in Hebron choir sings [the same] songs,” Bodnar said. “And then we all get together on the stage and perform them all. We’ve had these songs for a couple of months now, so we’ve been practicing a while.”
Bodnar said the point is to make younger students in their respective choirs join Hebron choir as well as have a fun learning experience.
“Admission is free so bring the family; it’s a fun night out,” Bodnar said. “You’ll hear great singing from many different schools. Come out and support Hebron choir and all the middle and elementary school choirs.”
