“Loki” is a mind-bending show that will make you question reality

The second season of Marvel’s “Loki” is a truly mind-bending experience that will leave you wondering what on earth you just watched.

Season two starts out with some spoilers if you haven’t already watched season one or Ant Man Quantamania. If you didn’t watch either of those, then you are guaranteed to be confused about what is happening in episode one. However, even if you have watched both of them, there is still a good chance you will be confused.

I could not wrap my head around what was happening during the first 20 minutes of the show. There were constant changes in point of view and setting. I even rewatched the episode to see if there was something I missed or didn’t understand, but it just left me even more confused. However, the first episode’s cinematography and CGI was absolutely breathtaking. From the eloquent camera angles to the majestic scenes of space and time, watching “Loki” is truly an experience to remember.

In the show, the main character, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), works as a fugitive of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), which monitors the timeline throughout the multiverse. The god of mischief was ripped from his timeline and is brought in to help the TVA stop other versions of himself in season one. However, the plot for season two is not clear to me yet after watching episode one.

“Loki” has been one of the best new Marvel shows to come out in recent years. I am hoping that season two will live up to my expectations, but I am unsure as recent Disney Plus shows have not been up to fans standards. Loki is a popular character amongst Marvel fans, myself included, and I hope that, as fans, we will get to hear and see more of his story now and in the future.

There are still seven more episodes of the show to air, so it’s hard to say if the show will live up to the hype of season one. Overall, episode one was a perplexing, yet beautiful experience and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has to offer.
