The volleyball team prepares to run sprints as they warm up for a tough practice. They play Marcus on Friday.

The Lady Hawks will play at Marcus High School on Friday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m., after beating Trinity on Oct. 10.

The volleyball team dominated in all three sets against Trinity, winning each set by at least nine points. With strong team leaders like senior Adanna Rollins and Annie Benbow, head coach Karin Keeney remains hopeful for the upcoming game and in district.

“I’m hoping we take care of business [in all three sets],” Keeney said. “We’re about to start the hardest part of district now, and I’m hoping we’ll be able to use this game as a great way to practice hard for the next level.”
